Honestly, I want one setting that'll play what it should. ie if I'm listening to music I expect it to be stereo, if I have a movie on that's surround sound- I want it surround sound. I have recently bought a Sony STR-DH790 receiver. I have a few issues hope someone can help. Sometimes when playing a dvd the back speakers don't seem to work at all. I have the 5.1 set up through B&W speakers, the front speakers work ok, occasionally I will get music coming through the back but nothing else.The dynamic volume and dynamic EQ sucks. The Sony was so much easier to make sound more pleasing immediately. The Denon room correction was very slow to respond to commands when setting up and then the end result sounded worse than the Sony set up manually. 4K@60Hz is enough for me.
